Compare the usable space with your contents
List the largest rigid item you plan to carry and its dimensions. Compare those dimensions with the usable compartment and opening, not just the outer bag dimensions. A bag can be tall enough while its zip opening remains too narrow.
For a laptop or tablet, ask about the actual sleeve and closure if compatibility matters. Do not infer a device size from the number of pockets or from a “laptop backpack” description. A photo showing the opening can identify the next measurement you need.
Inspect the carrying arrangement
Check how shoulder straps, handles or backpack straps attach, and whether their adjustment range suits your intended use. Ask for a close-up of the attachment and closure when those areas are hidden in the reference photo.
A wide-looking strap does not establish a safe load rating. Keep the seller’s construction or load information separate from appearance. When no performance evidence is available, make the remaining question explicit rather than treating it as answered.
Plan around structure and packing
Decide whether the bag’s shape, original box or removable inserts need to be retained. Ask about packed dimensions for structured designs before relying on a shipping estimate. Folding can be inappropriate for an item whose shape you want to preserve.
A separate wet/dry compartment or a visible zip does not prove waterproofing. If water resistance is essential, ask for evidence specific to the selected design and distinguish that product question from the parcel’s protective packaging.
Keep these inputs with the selected option.
| Input | What to record |
|---|---|
| Usable compartment | Compare internal dimensions with the item you will carry. |
| Opening width | Check that the item can pass through the actual opening. |
| Strap adjustment | Confirm usable range and attachment details. |
EXAMPLE REQUEST / ADAPT TO YOUR ORDER
Please measure the usable compartment and zip opening of my selected bag, and show the shoulder-strap attachments before I submit the parcel.
Use the Superbuy size guide for measurement methods and the QC photo checklist for a specific follow-up. Resolve option questions before arranging the parcel.
