Measure where the hat will sit

Nike’s headwear guide measures head circumference around the intended hat position, roughly 2.5 cm above the eyebrows. It also distinguishes the measurement from the label on its own chart. Use this as a measuring method, not a size guarantee for another seller’s hat.

Keep your measurement and the selected listing’s stated range in the same unit. “One size” is a label, not a measurement. If the listing lacks a range, ask for the missing information before deciding whether the design will work.

For caps, check the closure and crown

Look for the actual rear closure and confirm whether your selected option is adjustable or fixed-size. A front product image may hide that distinction. Ask for a rear view and a clear description of the usable range if you need it.

Compare crown shape and depth with a cap you already wear comfortably. A circumference range does not describe how high the crown sits or how the brim looks on you. Keep those preferences separate from the basic size check.

For beanies, check the measuring condition

Ask whether dimensions refer to the beanie relaxed, stretched or folded. Note the cuff arrangement and whether the image shows the same fold as the selected option. A flat width does not automatically supply a verified wearing range.

Read composition and care information for the selected listing if warmth or washing matters. A knit-looking photograph cannot determine elasticity, fibre content or post-wash behaviour. Keep unanswered material questions with your shortlist.

Request the views that resolve your decision

Compare the front design, brim or cuff, rear closure and inner band in your own order photos. A close-up request should identify the feature you need to check. Avoid asking for a general quality verdict from a single image.

For a structured cap, decide whether preserving the crown shape is a packing priority. Ask about the proposed packing and dimensions before choosing a parcel. An item being small does not tell you how it will be protected in transit.

Keep these inputs with the selected option.

EXAMPLE REQUEST / ADAPT TO YOUR ORDER

Please show the rear closure and inner band of my cap, and confirm the usable size range. For the beanie, please state whether its measurements are relaxed or stretched.

Use the Superbuy size guide for measurement methods and the QC photo checklist for a specific follow-up. Resolve option questions before arranging the parcel.
